Post-Retreat Bliss

Morning Yoga, saluting the sun to start the day.

I've just returned from hosting a Women's Wellness Weekend retreat in Palm Springs, an exceptional experience. The openness, honesty, vulnerability, and generosity that every soul showed to one another left a fingerprint on each of our hearts.

I am so blessed and so thankful to be able to hold space for women during such a time of transformation and upheaveal in our world history. I consider it both an honor and a responsibility. So what exactly does it mean to hold space for someone? It is creating a safe, non-judgmental and supportive environment for expression of feelings. Listening actively, not trying to fix or change or interrupt. It means being fully present, and allowing each other to feel heard, seen, and understood.

Sacred circles are a foundational part of any Sacred Woman Collective gathering.

Holding space is a collective endeavor. During our retreat we talked, cried, laughed, ate, moved through yoga postures, relaxed silently in the sun, held hands in circle, bathed in crystal singing bowl vibrations, walked a labyrinth in meditative contemplation and made connections to last a lifetime.

Sometimes it feels like there is warfare all around us, literally and spiritually, and I am so honored to be a part of the change that is happening to move through this world with more kindness and loving support of one another🕊️.

xo,

Karen
